About K-TEG
K-TEG traces its origins to Godsheide, where it was founded in 1995. From a small workshop, the company began producing custom flight cases, serving primarily customers in the broadcast, audio, and visual sectors.
In 2004, K-TEG took its first major step forward by moving into a real industrial hall at the Kiewit business park in Hasselt. This new facility made larger-scale production possible. Although the site was not easy to find and many customers had to search for it, it marked the company’s first real growth spurt. During this period, K-TEG began diversifying by entering new markets and expanding its offering with PELI™ case solutions.
In 2012, K-TEG was acquired from its original founder, Erik, by Wim and Joeri. This transition brought new energy and vision to the company, laying the foundation for the further growth and diversification that followed in the years ahead.
The company continued to evolve, and in 2021 K-TEG moved into its new high-profile site. The existing industrial hall was completely renovated, while a modern and striking new building was added to house the showroom and offices. Since then, the location on Kiewitstraat has supported further growth and helped K-TEG develop into the company it is today.
K-TEG’s growth has been accompanied by continuous investments in quality and innovation. In 2023, the company obtained its ISO 9001 certification, reinforcing its commitment to consistent quality management. The following year, in 2024, ownership passed to Ken, marking a new chapter in K-TEG’s story. In 2025, this evolution continued with the achievement of ISO 14001 certification, underscoring the company’s focus on sustainability, as well as with major investments in new machinery and advanced design software to further enhance production capabilities.
